A brief overview of the recent developments in Somalia:
- A US air strike near the town of Afgoye killed civilians on April 26, according to local sources. The US says that 3 ISIS militants only were eliminated;
- On April 19, US aircraft carried strike on a supposed al-Shabab target in the vicinity of Jamaame;
- On April 14, US airstrikes killed Abdulhakim Dhuqub, a “high ranking”ISIS-Somalia official, in the vicinity of Xiriiro;
- Police arrested several Al-Shabab suspects in Mogadishu on April 29.
