On December 7, the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces and forces of the US-led coalition reportedly entered the ISIS-held town of Hajin On December 8, clashes in the area reportedly continued.
If the SDF is able to develop momentum and capture Hajin, ISIS will lost the last relatively big settlement, which it contrils in Syria.
I see a black spot north to AL Tanaf. Does this mean that ISIS still there despite STRONG SAA advances and forces there ?
Yes, ISIS is still not wiped out over there. I don’t understand why, especially in this time when there are no major operations being conducted. I guess SAA is resting before the big battle planned in Idlib… This right now is the most quiet part of the war so far.
