This map provides a genear look at the military situation in southern Idlib. The frontline between the Syrian Army and radical militants has stabilized since the recent escalation in the region. Despite this sporadic firefights and artillery duels erupt on a regular basis. The Syrian Air Force and the Russian Aerospace Forces are working to eliminate militants’ weapon depots and foritfied positions along the M5 highway.
