the way things look now it appears to be heading toward a frozen conflict, i dont think russia nor ukraine have the required power to launch a successful large scale offensive, the lines have become solidified, in the end, the war was pointless and will only serve to harm putins government, especially if nothing further is gained

meanwhile the russians are retaking ground in the north ever day. and the fact that they are also denying the ukrainians any success in the massive offensive in the south says otherwise. interesting to note is russia has accumulated a massive reserve of equipment just outside the rear areas. for example, a video emerged from rostov showing a train carrying several dozen t90 and modernized t72 tanks heading westward. russians are preparing for something big.

i doubt that, when the ukrainians are a spent force with their suicide attacks that is when the russians will attack, same tactics as they used against the nazis, absorb the initial enemy offensive then counter attack.
