A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- The Turkish military established ‘observation posts’ near Baksariya, al-Z’ainiyah and Furaykah in order to protect al-Qaeda militants hiding in Jisr al-Shughur from the Syrian Army;
- The US-led coalition airdropped supplies to its forces deployed at the al-Omar oil fields;
- The Turkish Army shelled the Syrian Army’s 46th Regiment Base in western Aleppo. No casualties were reported;
- A weapon deplot located in a civilian area exploded in the village of al-Kastan;
- Militants claim that the Syrian Army shelled Al-Haddadah.
