A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- Security forces seized militant weapon caches, including TOW ATGMs, in the countryside of Daraa and Suweida;
- A fighting broke out between the NDF and the SDF’s Asayish in Qamishly city;
- The Syrian Army shelled positions of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham west of Afis;
- The US-backed miltiant group, Maghaweir al-Thowra, claimed that it was ready to provide protection to a humanitarian aid convoy to the Rukban refugee camp. The very same group is opressing camp residents and looting the humanitarian aid delivered to the area;
- 3 Syrian service members reportedly died as a result of the April 21 Israeli strike on Homs province;
- A fighting reportedly erupted between Turkish-backed Jabhat al-Shamiyah and Sultan Murad militant groups in Afrin city.

The SAA keep finding these weapon caches down Darra way, there must have been a plan for a large jihadi push from the south. Probably why they don’t give up al Tanaf.
