A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- ISIS fighters targeted a Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) checkpoint with a hand grenade in the town of Theban in Deir Ezzor governorate;
- ISIS ambushed a convoy of the al-Quds Brigade and the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) south of Deir Ezzor, allegedly killing two SAA soldiers;
- According to Kurdish sources, Turkish artillery shelled Ain Issa refugee camp in Raqqah governorate;
- A Turkish convoy of military equipment entered Syria through the Kafr-Lusin border crossing;
- The HTS-SAA prisoner exchange took place in western Aleppo;
- SAA artillery shelled Turkish-backed militants’ positions in the villages of Safuhin and Qastun in southern Idllib.
