A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- SAA artillery shelled Turkish-backed militants’ positions in the villages of Maarat al-Sin and Kafr Uwaid;
- Russian Defense Ministry confirmed the death of a General and one solider in a roadside IED blast in Deir Ezzor;
- The pro-government forces fired several rounds at US coalition convoy near the al-Omar oil field;
- An explosion at the checkpoint in Ras al-Ain killed at least one Turkish-backed militant;
- Several unguided rockets hit the US positions near the Coniko gas field. No casualties were reported;
- Two U.S. drones collided and crashed over the town of Kafr Takharim. Allegedly, they were US MQ-9 Reaper combat drones, shot down by Turkey.
