It will be very tough fight to get to the hard of Deir-Ezzor ,although if IS S-VBIEDs fail in most of the cases they will lose fast fast to fast. They make this car bombs because it is only way to stop the advance and attacks from the army ,when you have a lot of dead soldiers from suicide cars ,you are disabled for the time being and that is not good.Iraqi troops should set a few drones to watch their convoys and the stronghold positions where they are stationed for the time being and if they see VBIED coming they must have either ATGMs or for 99,9% best success they should have FGM-148 JAVELIN ,that should not be a problem acquiring because they 85% of the equipment and the weapons that iraqis have is from US. And as i said Javelins will blow those from far away and they can’t reach the target.But in suburban areas close quarters they should barricade the roads,that might be possible for a suicider to come with Concrete blocks, that is not hard situation either 1 truck to carry them or 2. And 1 or 2 bulldozers to lift them or any other fast scenarios for that. In that case that will save lives when a VBIED see blockade of concrete he will detonate there. Because he will can’t get to the humvees or the tanks etc.. Sound very easy but it should be also easy to be accomplished because if you don’t set yourself a security perimeter from those suiciders you will fail there and die..I think this is rational and good plan for them. So the map shows east of Damascus their is still an FSA bulge that was not taken by SAA. Previous reports claimed they were.
