Fierce clashes between Syrian tribesmen and the SDF were reported in Gharanij, Abu Hamam, Tayyana, Jama and Dhiban;
Clashes between two SNA factions were reported in the city of al-Bab;
On August 8, an Iranian Il-76 cargo plane landed in Khmeimim Air Base;
On August 8, SAA artillery shelled the Fleifel area;
On August 8, SAA artillery shelled the Tadef area;
On August 8, Turkish artillery shelled northern outskirts of Manbij.
