Unfortunately the Russian intervention in Syria was supposed to achieve its objectives in less than a year. It has been more than five years already without any prospects of ending anytime soon. It seems that despite Russian military successes the polices of the political leadership proved to be inadequate and indecisive allowing itself to be embroiled in all kinds of deals with the forces with the goals totally opposite to those of Russia and Syria. With the change of the American government things can get only worse. It seems obvious that by too much of “strategic” thinking and politics the war has stalled and, at this juncture, its end and possible results are quite unpredictable. Russians had missed quite a few chances to bring the war very close to its logical conclusion.

Total bullshit, pitiful troll.

Assad must stay

i agree with you somewhat, they got a little to close and comfy with torkis, and not standing up to/kicking out US more, and stopping israeli attacks, and stopping SAA to appease torkis, but russia still helped syria immensely, more than words can describe, inshallah the war ends soon
