A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- The Syrian Army has reportedly finalized preparations for an expected advance on Idlib;
- The Syrian Democratic Forces chief claimed that the group could become a part of the Syrian Armed Forces, but should keep its structure, leadership and deployment areas;
- At least 5 people were killed and 10 others were injured in a cra bomb explosion in al-Mabrukah;
- A foreign field commander in Hayat Tahrir al-Sham was assasinated in Sarmada;
- Pro-militant sources reported over 100 Syrian and Russian strikes across southern Idlib.
