A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- On December 27, the Turkish Army continued its withdrawal from the Tal Touqan observation post in Idlib province;
- On December 27, a Russian military convoy consisting of armored vehicles as well as a special medical vehicle deployed in Ain Issa;
- Russia announced an agreement with Turkey regarding the deployment of additional Russian Military Police units to stabilize the situation in Ain Issa;
- On December 27, artillery of Turkish-backed forces shelled SDF positions near Mennagh Airbase;
