A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- On December 29, Russia reported that Idlib militants violated the ceasefire regime in Greater Idlib 20 times: 12 – in Idlib province, 3 – in Aleppo province, 4 – in Latakia province, 1 – in Hama province;
- On December 29, the Turkish Army completely withdrew from the Andan observation post;
- As of December 29, 66 Turkish-backed fighters killed, 7 captured and 13 SDF members killed, more than 20 wounded in the Ain Issa clashes, according to the SOHR;
- On December 28, two SDF members were killed by an IED blast in Hajin area;
- On December 28, the Russian Military Police and the Turkish Army conducted a joint patrol in the vicinity of the town of Darbasiyah;
- On December 28, the Turkish Army established a new military post in the village of Kadoura;
- On December 28, Russian warplanes struck positions of Turkish-backed forces in the Kabani area.
It makes no sense writing “militants” violate this and that without mentioning, what others does and also ignoring the mainparts actually lives there.
