A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- On December 31, artillery of Turkish-backed forces shelled SAA positions in the Tal Tamar area;
- On December 30, artillery of Turkish-backed forces shelled SDF positions in the Ain Issa area;
- On December 30, 25 people were killed and 13 others were injured in an ISIS attack on busses with Syrian Army troops in the Kabajib area;
- On December 30, artillery of Turkish-backed forces shelled SAA positions in town of Saraqib;
- On December 30, the Turkish Army sent a convoy consisting of dozens of vehicles to Syria via Kafr Lusin crossing;
- On December 30, the US-led coalition targeted a vehicle near Salqin with a Ninja” R9X guided missile. No casualties were reported.
Here’s some more news, the Russians are possibly defending the Iranians from Israeli airstrikes in Deir ez Zor, they’ve deployed the Kasta-2E2 radar to the Iranian run base.
