A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- 4,000 PKK fighters have been killed in the battles fought along the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Syria so far, according to the head of the SDF Mazlum Abdi;
- On December 5, a Turkish convoy entered with logistical equipment to the Al-Bara area;
- On December 6, artillery of Turkish-backed forces shelled SDF positions in the Tal Tamar area;
- On December 5, clashes between Turkish-backed forces and SDF were reported near Abu Rasin;
- On December 6, artillery of Turkish-backed forces shelled SDF positions in the Ain Issa area;
- On December 5, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham reportedly arrested several ISIS members in the village of Darkush.
