This map provides a general look at the military situation in Syria on February 14, 2018:

• Units of the Tiger Forces are reportedly deploying for the upcoming oeprations against ISIS in the Homs desert as well as Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and Ahrar al-Sham in Damascus’ Eastern Ghouta;
• Accorindg to unconfirmed reports, sporadic fighting erupted between the Syrian Arab Army and the Syrian Democratic Forces in the Euphrates Valley;
• Hayat Tahrir al-Sham captured 6 villages in southern Idlib after ISIS members had surrendered there;
• The Russian Defense Ministry has announced that Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and the White Helments are preparing a provocation using poisonous chemicals against the Syrian government;
• The Turkish Armed Forces and the Free Syrian Army are clashing with YPG/YPJ forces in the area of Afrin. Recently, Turkish forces have captured the villages of Arshali and Umar Simu;
