A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:

• The Syrian Army cleared the entire western countryside of Aleppo from militants and continued advancing;
• Government forces are opening humanitarian corridors in Miznaz and Bjariz in order to allow civilians to safely leave the militant-held area;
• Pro-militant sources spread fake news about the killing of Russian generals and the destruction of an S-400 system in a drone attack on Hmeimim;
• According to pro-government sources, up to 60 militants were killed and 20 pieces of military equipment were destroyed during recent clashes in Greater Idlib;
• US-backed Jaysh Maghawir al-Thawra claimed that it had ‘repelled’ a Syrian Army attack in the al-Tanf area;
• Turkish-led forces shelled Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) positions near Umm Adasat al-Farat and Dandaniyah;
• Strikes by Turkish-backed militants were reported near Ayn Issa.
