A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- President Bashar al-Assad congratulated the Syrian people with the victory in western Aleppo and declared that the Syrian Army will continue anti-terrorism efforts in the provinces of Idlib and Aleppo;
- Hayat Tahrir al-Sham reportedly started evacuating its weapon depots from the area of Darat Izza. Some of them are reportedly being evacuated to the Afrin region;
- An ISIS cell reportedly attacked a position of the Syrian Army near al-Tabiyah. Casualties were reported;
- The Russian Military Police and the Turkish Army resumed joint patrols in northeastern Syria;
- Pro-militant sources reported artillery strikes by the Syrian Army near Idlib, Arinah and Sarmin;
- The Syrian Air Force bombed militant positions near Darat Izza;
- Government forces develop their advance in western Aleppo.
