This map provides a general look at the military situation in Syria on February 8, 2018:
- The Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) and the Free Syrian Army (FSA) develop momentum against YPG/YPJ forces in the Afrin area;
- The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) liberated a large area from ISIS in the northeastern Hama pocket and repelled a Hayat Tahrir al-Sham attack west of Abu al-Duhur;
- The US-led coalition struck positions of the SAA in the province of Deir Ezzor and now MSM is claiming that over 100 SAA troops were killed.
guess it was revenge for russia letting turkey to attack their allies-kurds?? the thing is what will russia do now
Eh, how could Russia stop Turkey from attacking kurds ? They have been doing that for years without asking anyone’s persmission, Turkey is a member of nato and is highly dependent on the west both economically and technologically, if they can’t stop them from attacking kurds how can Russia ? By jumping in front of the bullets ?
Eh, how could Russia stop Turkey from attacking kurds ?
As before.
You mean by stationing some patrol troops between the parties, not sure if that would work considering that erdo is hellbent on preventing creation of kurdish bord patrol, amies have been waving that “red”blanket before his eyes for too long and why should Russia risk own troops for kurds when kurds fight for the other side ? They switch sides faster than i do my socks, would a be a waste of time and resources if you ask me. LOL
they stoped them in idlib twice…by accidental bombing of their forces ^^… today u need either russias or usa permition to shoot anything in your army…welcome to 2018
This also. But mainly call Erdogan and forbid this action.
Simple. Russia will vote a resolution relying kurds to the sustainable growth development sectors of the Irak International Security program. Then Turkey will know that kurds can work for security, banks or miltary in the new development. Simply, Turkey knows that revolt and inequalty do provoke them to become harder as PKK may be for kurd, but as well inversely, PKK should revoke prudently before being found actually bound in Afrin if there are. Or, he or she or they should than return their weapons to the military authority. Shall and accept all peace agreement as something beneficial to them for their future. Unless someone would forces PKK members to be then… I do not belive that. I believe that with agreement it is possible to conclude inequalties socially for the long term inclusive development. An arrangment that everybody belong to. For security internationnaly. Se on my website for a new development challenge coped with a security development for peace to be long and quite permissive under our resignation (I mean into a reliable economy). No patrol, transport control by the sustainable growth : http://industrialtaskmodulator.e-monsite.com/pages/security-control/ Thanks
Daeshmerga Kurds have no support or any respect anymore and best that they accept being Iraqi’s and remember others in Iraq were treated worse than they were.
Kurds (USA-puppets) are not Russia allies. However, Russia is considering Turkey an allied ! ? In addition, Turkey is a NATO member. Therefore, in my opinion, this Turkey attack to Syria is coordinated with USA (kurds are only peons in this chess war game), and Russia will do nothing against Turkey because of the economical and commercial links (gas line crossing Turkey). In other words, the situation in Syria could become very complicated for Syria thanks to Kerry-Lavrov agreement of dive Syria (did you notice what happened in Deir Ezzor, Al Mayadim and Al Bukaman ?)
you didnt understand what i wrote.
Nah , just US protecting it’s “asses” in Syria and since there was no way that Turkey could have been stopped as they attacked on NATO orders the last time, an again this time.”Me thinks the US doth protest much”, seems this is more charade than an actual attack as Turkey hasn’t ventured far.
