- Clashes resumed between Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and the National Front for Liberation (NFL) in the town of Darat Izza and nearby villages west of the city of Aleppo. According to reports, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham already seized Darat Izza and started working to gain control of the nearby area. However, it’s expected that the NFL will make an attempt to retake the area soon;
- The Turkish Armed Forces continue their military build-up on the border with Syria. According to reports, at least 60 battle tanks were deployed there during the past few days;
- The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continue their slow advance against ISIS in the Euphrates Valley.
