This map provides a general look at the military situation in Syria:
- ISIS attacked positions of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces in the town of Gharanij and the nearby areas in the province of Deir Ezzor.
- The Turkish Armed Forces and the Turkish-backed Free Syrian Army captured captured Bursaya Mount, Qastal Jundu and Yazibagh and advanced on positions of the YPG/YPJ on Kevire Kerr Mountain.
- The Syrian Army repelled an attack by Ahrar al-Sham and other militant groups on the Armoured Vehicles Base in Damascus’ Eastern Ghouta.
There’s still a Green Daesh presence being shown in the North Hama pocket, that’s supposed to be taken over completely by ISIS.
Exactly right.
Both are nothing more than US bought and paid for mercenaries and operatives.. so does it really make that much of a difference?
Why Abu Duhur is “contested”?!

M% and MR highways need to be liberated from the Zionist terror squads.
At Tanf needs some love. Soon hopefully. Through Jordan terrorists have unlimited supply.
For all the bullshit they caused, after this war I think Syria should invade Jordan.
NO… No need to invade these other countries, for that would give the US their “excuse” to attack Syria directly..
You surely have point but on international level that has some serious implications. Syria has no desire to do such things, after all they are civilized and modern society in many aspects and as @northerntruthseeker:disqus said it would give not only excuse for the US to attack Syria but also it would give legitimacy to other wars in the region.
Not directly of course. Sending mercenaries would be best option. Just like they’ve done in Syria.
Thats an option but it can hardly work in countries with around and more than 80mil people.
That will only invite a reaction from Israel and Saudi Arabia. Best to have Russian troops in the area beforehand, at least an entire Combined Arms Army from the South MD. Therefore they would need to go through either Georgia/Turkey or Azerbaijan/Iran/Iraq, because I’m pretty sure that Russia can’t supply 30,000-80,000 troops by sea or air right now.

I didn’t see that little SDF pocket on the West of the Euphrates -> Al-Tabaqah containing an airport; why in God’s name is that still there ?.
The Syrian Arab Army is working on reducing and destroying other pockets of US fraud rebel resistance first, and once that is done they will tackle the issue of this one as well as the Al Tanf eyesore….
Hopefully the Kurds on the northeastern side will finally see the light, stop dealing with the devil aka the “US-Israel” criminal cabal, and then the entire nation will be finally painted red!
