A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- On January 30, Russia reported that Idlib militants violated the ceasefire regime in Greater Idlib 18 times: 8 – in Idlib province, 5 – in Latakia province, 1 – in Hama province, 4 – in Aleppo province;
- On January 29, artillery of Turkish-backed forces shelled positons of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) near Ain Issa. The SDF reportedly repelled attacks of Turkish-backed forces north of Ain Issa;
- On January 29, a SDF member was killed in a hand grenade attack in the Akidat area;
- On January 29, the SDF carried out a security operation in the Shahil area;
- On January 29, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) sent more reinforcement to Daraa province;
- On January 29, unknown gunmen reportedly attacked 12 checkpoints of the SAA in Daraa province.
