- On January 8, Turkish artillery shelled SDF positions near Ain Issa;
- On January 9, SDF artillery shelled a Turkish base near Azaz city. Several Turkish servicemen reportedly were wounded;
- Two SDF members were killed by the Turkish Army in the Olive Branch area in the northern Syria, according to the Turkish MOD;
- The UN Security Council unanimously approve to extend delivering border-crossing aid from Turkey to opposition-held areas in northwest Syria.
