A brief overivew of the recent developments in Syria:
- A terrorist attack targeted a gas pipeline linking al-Shaer gas fields in eastern Homs with Ebla gas plant;
- An IED attack targeted a unit of Russian Military Police near Busra al-Sham. No casualties were caused;
- Hezbollah Secretary General Hasan Nasrallah confirmed that the movement is reducing its forces in Syria;
- Militants of the al-Qaeda-affiliated “Wa Harid al-Muminin” operations room used a Turkish-made HY-12 mortar in attacks on the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in northern Lattakia;
- A suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device exploded right next to the HQ of the SDF special forces in the town of al-Tayyana. ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack;
- Airstrikes reportedly hit militants’ infrastructure near Maarat al-Numan and Bansqul;
- Sporadic clashes continue to erupt near Hamamiyah.
