A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- The al-Qaeda-linked al-Fatah Brigades deployed reinforcements in northern Hama;
- Abu Omar Dabah al-Dik, a senior military commander in the Sham Legion, was killed on July 18 in a Russian airstrike on the Kurd Mountains;
- ISIS fighters ambushed on July 18 an SAA unit west of al-Mayadin;
- Militants continue accusing the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) of shelling targets in northern Hama and southern Idlib.
