BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:40 P.M.) – The clashes between the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the Turkish-backed militants in northwestern Syria have been halted, a military source in the Hama Governorate told Al-Masdar News this aftenroon. According to the source, the clashes were halted after the Russian and Turkish armed forces renewed their ceasefire talks.
here we go again…..pathetic ridiculous
Don’t take it personally. You do get carried away sometimes. Sometimes we have to wait a bit for reality to catch up, so we can see more clearly what is going on. It is a confusing situation, with many biased rumors going around.
BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:00 P.M.) – The U.S. military reportedly sent dozens of trucks filled with equipment to Syria’s Deir Ezzor Governorate this week, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR). According to the SOHR report, hundreds of trucks carrying military and logistical equipment were transported to the territories under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the Deir Ezzor Governorate. The U.S. military trucks reportedly crossed into eastern Syria from the Simalka Crossing that links the country with neighboring Iraq. The SOHR report added that a total of 1,115 U.S. military trucks have traveled to the SDF-held areas in Deir Ezzor since the start of the new year.
Hope the rumours of another ceasefire arent true. The last thing the Syrian Arab Army need is for Turkey and the israeli regime to re-supply the terrorists.
BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:20 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has begun raining missiles on the key town of Kabani in the northeastern countryside of the Latakia Governorate this morning. Using their Golan-1000 launcher, the Syrian Arab Army’s 4th Armored Division has been heavily targeting the defenses of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and the Turkestan Islamic Party at the southern axis of Kabani.
According to a source near the front-lines, the Syrian Arab Army is preparing to make another attempt to capture this strategic mountaintop town in the Zuwayqat Mountain. In the past, the Syrian Arab Army has stormed the southern axis of Kabani six times in a bid to expel the jihadist rebels from the town; however, all of their attacks have been repelled by the HTS and TIP militants. The Syrian Arab Army needs to capture Kabani from the jihadist forces in order to secure the last part of the Latakia Governorate.Kabani is the most strategicly important town for the attack on Idlib, because it sits Right on a mountain top and thus overlooks the greater plain.Without Kabani, no greater attack on Idlib can occur.
BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:00 P.M.) – The Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) carried out two attacks against the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) on Monday, targeting the latter’s positions near the historical city of Palmyra (Tadmur). Using the night as cover, the Islamic State’s first attack targeted the Syrian Arab Army forces at the western axis of the T-3 Pumping Station near Palmyra; this resulted in a heavy firefight between the two parties.
The Syrian Army said they were able to foil the Islamic State attack and secure the area before dawn. In another attack, the Islamic State stormed the Syrian Army’s positions near the international highway east of Palmyra. The firefight would only last for a short while, but the Islamic State was able to inflict some casualites in the Syrian Army’s ranks before they retreated back to the desert.
TEHRAN (FNA)- More than 800 ISIL terrorists, including 300 suicide attackers, have arrived in Northern Hama regions to join Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay’at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) in the battle with the Syrian Army, Arab media reported on Tuesday. The Arabic-language website of the Russian Sputnik news agency quoted local sources in Hama as saying that about 500 Ansar al-Tawhid terrorists affiliated to the ISIL terrorist group have entered battlefronts in al-Jobin and Tal al-Melh regions in Northern Hama to attack the Syrian Army’s military positions in al-Hamamiat and Karnaz areas. The sources underlined that Ansar al-Tawhid terrorists have stressed that they would fight in the battlefield only under their own flag. Meantime, more than 300 ISIL suicide attackers, most of whom are Chinese Igur, have jointed Jeish al-Izza terrorists in al-Latamaneh, Kafar Zita and al-Zuka in Jisr al-Shoghour region in Southwestern Idlib. On Monday, the Damascus Army backed by the Syrian and Russian air forces warded off several attacks launched by Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay’at in several regions to regain the regions they have already lost in Northern Hama, killing more than 130 terrorists. “The Syrian Army in an ambush operation warded off a massive attack by Tahrir al-Sham terrorists from the town of al-Jamleh in Northern Hama, killing at least 30 terrorists and destroying a bomb-laden vehicle of Turkistan party,” Sputnik quoted a military source as saying. The source pointed to the continuation of clashes between the Syrian Army and terrorists in al-Hamamiat-Karnaz axis in Northern Hama, and said the Syrian Army troops have killed over 100 terrorists in that axis and reinforced all their military positions there by restoring security to the surrounding areas of both towns. The clashes also continued for the third day in battlefronts of Tal al-Melh and al-Jobin. Meantime, the Russian and Syrian warplanes pounded the military positions and movements of terrorists in Khan Sheikhoun, al-Latameneh, Kafar Zita, al-Zuka, al-Arbaeen, Kafar Nubl, Tarmeleh and Hass in Southern Idlib and Northern Hama, destroying a large number of their military vehicles and hardware. The Arabic-language service of Russia Today also reported that 17 military and armored vehicles of the terrorists were destroyed and several foreign terrorists were killed during fending off of an attack by terrorists on Karnaz town.

TEHRAN (FNA)- The US and Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) attacked the residents of two towns in Eastern Deir Ezzur after they held protest rallies and hoisted the Syrian flag, demanding expulsion of the occupying forces. A group of SDF fighters backed by the US-led coalition air force attacked civilians in two towns of Abu al-Nitel and al-Namileh in Eastern Deir Ezzur who while hoisting the Syrian Army were calling for SDF and the US occupying forces to be expelled from Syria, local sources in Deir Ezzur said. The sources noted that two civilians were killed and wounded in SDF and US attack, and said that the entire regions under the SDF control in Hasaka and Deir Ezzur provinces were the scenes of popular protests against the presence of occupying forces there. Meantime, the Arabic-language al-Khabour News Website reported that the SDF in Hasaka province prevented civilians from leaving the regions under their control for safe regions controlled by the Syrian Army. The SDF fighters also asked for the payment of a sum of about 100,000 Syrian liras from any vehicle trying to leave the SDF-controlled region for Hasaka. The Arabic-language website of the Russian Sputnik news agency, meantime, reported that a military convoy of the US-backed militants came under attack by unknown assailants in the town of Abu Suseh in the Northern part of Raqqa city which killed four US-backed militants and injured nine others and also destroyed four of their military vehicles. In a relevant development in early May, residents of Eastern Deir Ezzur had called on the Syrian government to return to the Eastern parts of the country to expel occupiers from the region as tensions had heightened between the SDF and the civilians. The Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper reported that residents of different parts of Eastern Deir Ezzur had raised the demand in several contacts with the paper. It underlined that residents of towns and villages of Deir Ezzur were highly dissatisfied with measures adopted by the occupying US forces and the SDF, including detentions, torture of civilians and seizure of the civilian properties. The newspaper said that the occupied areas in Hasaka and Deir Ezzur did not enjoy even the minimum living standards, including electricity, adding that a large number of residents of the towns and villages in Eastern Deir Ezzur had been transferred to the Syrian army-controlled areas. Meantime, residents of tens of towns and villages in Eastern Deir Ezzur had staged rallies in late May against the SDF’s vis-à-vis civilians and their hoarding of fuel and closed the roads, demanding their withdrawal from the region.
