A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- Syrian security forces arrested 6 people including Nasser Riyadh Azzam during anti-government demonsrations in As-Suwayda;
- The US coalition has sent 200 trucks carrying armored vehicles, materials and reinforcements to Hasaka, Qamishli and Deir Ezzor provicnes from Iraq’s Kurdistan Region;
- A large explosion occurred in Al-Bab;
- Syrian Army artillery units shelled militants’ positions in Barah, Kansafrah and Fatirah;
- Yusef Abu Hussein, a prominent commander of Suqur al-Sham, was assassinated near the town of Sarjeh in southern Idlib;
- An IED explosion targeted the joint Russian-Turkish patrol on the M4 highway in southern Idlib.
