A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- An improvised explosive device struck the bus of the SAA 5th Corps in the eastern Daraa countryside near Kahil. At least 9 service members were killed and 19 others were injured;
- Russian warplanes conducted the airstrikes on Kafr Uwaid village in the South of Idlib;
- A drone strike on the Turkish-occupied part of northern Aleppo killed two individuals affiliated with ISIS;
- The clashes broke out between the SAA and Turkish-backed militants near the towns of Umm Ushbah and al-Asadiyah in the northern al-Hasakah countryside;
- Syrian security forces arrested arms traffickers and seized large quantities of weapons in the country’s southern region.
