A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- Turkish forces claimed that they downed a Syrian warplane over Idlib. However, the downed aircraft appeared to be a Turkish drone;
- At least 8 Iranian-backed fighters were killed in Turkish strikes in the Aleppo countryside;
- Turkish strikes destroyed two self-propelled howitzers of the Syrian Army in southern Idlib;
- Hayat Tahrir al-Sham captured several anti-tank guided missiles from the Syrian Army;
- Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and other Turkish-backed groups captured several towns from the Syrian Army near Kafr Nubl;
- Syrian troops are conducting an operation against militants in Sanamayn.
2 syrian airforce fighter jets were shotdown in idlib …both pilots are safe one with minor injuries both were taken to hospital…meantime russkies are no were to be seen.

Su-24 is not fighter jets and each plane have two pilots (Technically one pilot and one bomber/navigator).
So the type of plane does not match and the number of aircrews doesn either.

Apparently, it was a grave mistake to kill the 30 Turkish soldiers. Erdogan will demand from Putin that the SAA withdraw from Idlib. Assad will have to consent if not the war in all parts of Syria will start all over again.
Russia is currently sending war ships to Syria armed with Kaliber Missiles. These are guided missiles with 300 to 2600 km range depending on version… Very serious threat for Turkish backed forces on the ground. Russia will keep puting pressure on Erdogan, and don’t forget turkish public opinion is going more and more upset with Erdogan Syrian war… Wait and see…
The Turks are very nationalistic. Until the 30 soldiers were killed, Erdogan was humiliated every day in Syria. As soon as he started striking the SAA his popularity in Turkey rose.

All of Turkey is behind the army and President Erdogan now. A war has always united Turkish people. Also ships sink when they get hit. Keep thinking that Russia can use those ships and get away with it.
1 – at best, only hardcore, die-hard Erdogan supporters are behind his overt efforts at overturning the Idlib campaign in favor of Sunni Islamists linked with Al-Qaeda, which now means less than half the Turkish population, if the latest elections are of any indication.
2 – you thinking that Turkey can win a conventional war against a fully-deployed Russian military amassed there, which is all the funnier.
Without doubt Turkey will win a ground and air war against russia in Syria. How do you expect russia to deploy all the troops they need so far from their own border? Access to the black sea will be closed in case of a war. Turkey can send reinforcements all day long.
“Without doubt” are you serious, armchair general ? how about the day after they take on so harshly against Russia’s deployment in Syria ? you think the Kremlin will just stay idle after such a catastrophic and decisive affront perpetrated against their core Syrian interests ? who’s going to “block access” to the black sea when the Russian navy’s submarine and surface fleet start basically wiping out every single Turkish vessel and ports they encounter in the area ? what happens when the strategic supersonic squadrons take to the air from their Engels base and start pounding every single relevant Turkish assets on the ground while Sukhois and Migs and start deploying back en masse in Kheimeim in parallel in a matter of mere hours ? Putin already warned about that years ago when drawing down its forces after the bulk of the anti-Assad Islamists were defeated. What happens when the hundreds of K-55,Khinzals and dozens of Iksanders deployed in significant numbers in Syria itself start flying to their targets and wiping anything of importance on the border with Idlib ? what is the Turkish ariforce going to do against the full measure of the Russian air-defense apparatus at sea and ground once it’s activated with a fire-at-will rules of engagement ? it will be quite different from taking pot shots against isolated Syrian Pantsyrs here and there, rest assured it will be another beast altogether and the Turkish brass knows where to stop. I would LOVE to see the Turks dare and try to blockade anything Russian after they’ve done what’s needed to unleash Moscow in full force against themselves. You are beyond delusional my gosh it’s unbelievable. The Turks blockading the black sea and the Russians just taking it. Yes true Turkey is 80 million people NATO state, with a lot of equipment and new stuff, drones, heavy self-propelled howitzers F-16s I know that they have enough if they want to literally get to Assad in Damascus I know that, they had a lot of weapons, but low morale to fight tho, look Syrian poor soldiers, they have no helmets, no bullet prof vests, no uniforms, no descent weapons, of course the fact is that, we cannot compare these 2 states at military level. Everything that Syria has its from Russia. But in order for all this Turkish assault to be countered Russia had literally to enter in open conflict with Turkey, so shoot ballistic missiles, to shoot cruise missiles, what is worst Russia gave these Turks very good air defense the S-400 so if Russian Jet or missiles were entering Turkish space would have been destroyed by the very S-400 that Russia sold them. I mean in long term war or conflict Russia can overhaul Turkey very fast with min 3 months preparation from Russian side, Russia is very close to Turkey tho, just the black sea some 200km. Russia is one of the strongest military in the world.
S-400 probably can be crushed very easily from russians, because they build that weapons and they have all the countermeasures to enable that technology (if not stupid!!)

NO, i DON’T MEAN THAT. I want explain how russians can stop every attempt of turks of using s-400 . Then I think turks aren’t able yet to use effectively the system because they lack completely crews able to use s-400 effectively. They need much more time to be effective while uses the system. Russia don’t wants to attack deep turks, not in turk territories. Eventually turks must be very aware in sovereign territories of Syria, which they occupies breaking every rules of international laws. So Russia because invited by Syria can make whatever necessary to send home a rogue army (and their mercenary which are terrorists) and their dogs that are also making ethnic cleansing in that territories. The crazy idea of creating a new ottoman empire, or the “greater IsraHELL” which mean the same of lebensraum are igniting a worse scenario of ever in Middle East, then we are seeing ammerrecans occupying Syrian sovereign territories with absolutely any excuses and the acting of Saudis, EAU and others (in this case very criminal regimes which wants to crush Iranians getting the exact opposite results) which are armed by western rogue nations (UK, France, US and many others), are determining a very dangerous result, all of them wants to decide of future of sovereign nations and their populations. In Yemen we are assisting at the attempt of putting a president in charge despite people wants another thing…….. It’s time that every people in the world must determine his own future even have external interferences (this is an euphemism), we know very well what interferences nation as Usa has made for centuries all over the world. turkey doesn’t have full military control on the ground over the pkk kurdish regions they only have air control and the only way to enter and access turkish military facilites and bases there is by helicopters and by air … the syrian arab army and allies need to arm the pkk terrorists with manpads and air deffence systems, almost half of turkish eastern kurdish region will get out of turkish control …turkey is breaking red lines in idlib and the saa needs to break them elsewhere …turkey weakest link are the kurds in the east
