A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- Turkish and Russian forces conducted first joint patrol. It was limited to the area west of Saraqib;
- The M4 highway in southern Idlib remains blocked by militant supporters;
- ISIS wives have murdered an Iraqi citizen in the notorious al-Hawl camp;
- The security situation in Daraa province remains complicated. A former rebel commander known as Fadi al-Asmi survived an assassination attempt in Tafas;
- Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and other Idlib groups threaten to attack Russian troops and journalists.
If Turks cannot provide security, then Russia and Syrian troop have to at least take over everything 10 km north of M4. Turkey has failed. just like the previous time.
Russia knew that Erdog would fail. So they set him up.
Erdogan didn’t fail – those are his guys, who are blocking the road. It’s an Erdo trick. Eventually those CIA-AlQaida guys will start shooting again, and it will go into round two, and Dönmeh Erdo will be losing more of his Israel upgraded hardware…
