A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:

• An explosion was reported near the town of al-Bukamal;
• SDF sources accuse Turkish-backed forces of shelling SDF positions near Ayn Issa and Tell Tamr;
• Russian and Turkish forces conducted a scheduled joint patrol near Ayn al-Arab (Kobane);
• A car bomb exploded near Afrin city. The situation with casualties remains unclear;
• Turkish-backed militants claim that they had destroyed a vehicle of the Syrian Army near Saraqib with an ATGM;
• According to pro-Turkish sources, the Syrian Army shelled positions of terrorists near Kafr Uwayd, Sfuhun and al-Fatirah.
