A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- Russian and Turkish forces conducted “carried out the first independent but coordinated patrol” in the Tel Rifaat area, according to the Turkish military;
- A Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) member was reportedly killed in Qurt Wiran near Manbij as a result of clashes with Turkish-backed militants;
- 7 SDF members were reportedly killed in an ISIS attack in the Manbij area;
- ISIS cells conducted a series of attacks in Thiban and nearby points. According to pro-ISIS sources, at least 3 SDF members were killed and a vehicle was destroyed;
- Ceasefire violations are being reported in northern Hama and southern Idlib;
- The US-led coalition continues to sabotage Syrian-Russian efforts to start evacuation of refugees from the Rukban camp;
- The SDF security operation near Baghuz is ongoing.
