they would not need their own nation if the sunnis would not want to kill them. and kurds are sunnies too. the only reason you have a problem is cause the turks hate you and tell the other sunnis to kill your people. as for your people getting an own nation i dont think anyone outside of the region would have a problem with this.
most kurds are sunnis but we never killed alawites. i remember assad saying we will pay a heavy price for our betrayal when we wanted federalism and autonomy (not even going as far for asking our own state) but now the division of syria doesn’t seem like a bad plan? funny how views can change so suddenly when the tables are turned. as bad as i feel for the alawites, still a bunch of hypocrites.
