A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- The Syrian Army recaptured Tanjarah from al-Qaeda-linked militants after a series of clashes;
- Unidentified gunmen attacked a headquarters of the Sham Corps near the town of Binnish;
- 2 Syrian soldiers were killed in an IED explosion in al-Khabour;
- A large explosion erupted in the center of al-Bab. At least one person was killed and 20 others were injured.
