A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- Militants carried out 12 attacks on Russia’s Hmeimim Air Base with rocket launchers and UAVs. All attacks were repelled. No casualties and material damage were caused;
- A commander of the US-backed Army of Revolutionaries survived an assassination attempt in the city of Manbij on May 1;
- According to the SOHR, at least 50 Syrian and Russian strikes hit targets in northern Hama and southern Idlib;
- ISIS terrorists’ activity is being reported in the Homs desert;
- The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has deployed reinforcements near the Idlib demilitarized zone in northern Hama;
- An explosion was reported in the city of Raqqah.
