A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- Syrian troops intercepted a US military convoy near al-Khair;
- A large batch of new members of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham’s Red Bands finished training in Idlib;
- On May 20, the Russian Military Police and the Turkish Army held a new joint patrol in southern Idlib;
- The Syrian Army and Liwa al-Quds conducted an anti-ISIS operation in the area between Haribshi and Faydat Umm Muyni’a;
- ISIS cells conducted a series of attack on the Syrian Army in Daraa and al-Quneitra provinces.
