Military Situation In Syria On May 4, 2019 (Map Update)

A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:

The Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units and the Syrian Arab Army finished a joint combing operation on the both sides of the al-Qaim border crossing;
Syrian Democratic Fores (SDF) Commander-in-Chief, Ferhat Abdi Sahin, revealed on May 3 that his group is holding “indirect talks” with Turkey to settle the existing differences in a peaceful manner;
Syrian and Russian aircraft carried out over 100 strikes on miltiant targets in northern Hama and southern Idlib in over the past 24 hours;
Over 1,300 refugees left the al-Rukban refugee camp and entered government-controlled terrirtory on May 1;
Another explosion was reported in Raqqa;
An IED explosion reportedly injured several SDF members in Muhaimideh.
