A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- On May 5, the 8th Turkish-Russian patrol took place in southern Idlib. The length of the patrol was extended;
- The Syrian Army destroyed 2 buldozers of the Turkish Army with anti-tank guided missiles near Afis;
- Gunmen reportedly attacked a Syrian Army position at Maliha Al Gharbi killing 2 soldiers;
- The Syrian Army launched raids against ISIS cells west of al-Mayadeen;
- Turkish-backed forces reportedly neutralized a car bomb near Sukkari.
