A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- U.S. forces have completely withdrawn from the Sarrin base;
- The Turkish Army reinforced its positions near Ras al-Ayn;
- The Syrian Army deployed additional troops and equipment in Abu Rasin and Umm Harmalah;
- Clashes between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Turkish-backed militants continued in a gray zone south of Ras al-Ayn, near the M4 highway;
- Russian forces and the SDF set up a coordination center in Ain Issa;
- US mercenaries were spotted in the Rumeilan oil field area.
If that oil pipeline into Iraq isn’t shut off, would someone please shut it off.
