A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:

• The Syrian Army deployed reinforcements, including battle tanks, in northern Lattakia;
• A car bomb attack killed 2 and injured 10 people in Afrin city;
• The US military is boosting its presence at the as-Suwar military base;
• US troops were spotted near Gerke Lage in the Rmelan oilfield area;
• The situation north of Ayn Issa has stabelized. Nonetheless, sporadic artillery duels erupt between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Turkish-led forces.
