A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:

• On November 9, a US military convoy were hit by an IED attack in the Markadah area allegedly killing 4 US troops. The US-led coaliton spokesperson denied reports about the US casualties;
• On November 8, the Turkish Army started evacuating its observation post in the Qabtan mountain;
• On November 8, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) carried out a security operation in the Busayrah area arresting 3 ISIS members;
• On November 8, Syrian Arab Army (SAA) artillery shelled Turkish-backed forces positions in the Nayrab and Afis areas.
