- On October 18, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said that reports about the usage of chemical weapons by Turkish forces in northern Syria were false;
- Clashes between Turkish forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are ongoing despite the ‘ceasefire’;
- The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) secured Tell Tamr, al-Salamas and Umm al-Khair;
- A new round of Russian airstrikes hit Hayat Tahrir al-Sham in southern Idlib and northern Lattakia.
