A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:

• Russian airstrikes hit militant positions near Maarzita, Fatterah, Kafr Sijnah, Kafr Nabl, Sheikh Dames and Ameriyeh. 13 militants were reportedly eliminated;
• A 100-vehicle long US convoy left Syria through the Simalka crossing with Iraq;
• US forces are not planning to withdraw from the Omar oil fields area, according to MSM;
• Turkish-backed forces are massing near Tell Rifaat;
• Turkish-backed forces have secure their gains in Ras al-Ayn. The town is under their full control;
• US troops withdrawn from northern Syria will reportedly remain in western Iraq.
