A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- A unit of the Russian Military Police came under fire from Turkish-backed forces near Darbasiyah. No casualties;
- Firefights between the Syrian Army and Turkish-backed militants erupted near Tal Abu Rasin and Manajeer;
- Clashes between the Syrian Army and Idlib militants are ongoing near Kbanah. The army lost several pieces of military equipment;
- Turkish sources announced that 18 Syrian troops had been captured near Ras al-Ayn;
- Government forces set up 84 border outposts on the Turkish border: 60 – in the Qamishly region and 24 – in the Kobani area, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
