A brief overview of the recent developments:
- The Pentagon released a video of the house destruction in Barisha in an attempt to prove the killing of al-Baghdadi;
- Clashes between the Syrian Army and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham continue near Kbanah;
- Militants claimed that airstrikes hit Maarat al-Numan;
- Turkish-backed militants announced that they had destroyed a YPG vehicle near Maranaz;
- The Russian military released the area of patrols in northeastern Syria;
- Clashes between the Syrian Army and Turkish-backed militants are ongoing south of Ras al-Ayn.
I do not want to sound negative here, but the SAA are thinly spread and cannot accept these daily deaths in the ranks. I hope the Russians are bringing in Merks soon.
