The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies have repelled all ISIS attacks, re-gained an area east of al-Suhkna and restored control over the Palmyra-Deir Ezzor highway.
Separetely, the SAA has started storming the ISIS stronghold of al-Mayadin in the Euphrates Valley. Government troops captured the old airport and many other points west and south of al-Mayadin.
The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have continued its operation against ISIS in Raqqah city. According to a SDF spokesperson, the group will take control over the city in few days. The SDF has also advanced northeast of Deir Ezzor city and seized Markadah village.

Those ISIS groups fled some time ago most ended up joining with ISIS in Idlib they were using LDRG tactics of meeting , which requires extensive intelligence to do. Mayadin is being flanked from all sides and Molhassan and other regions are in conflict , Tahtani region is being captured so they flank it properly.
Breaking : from several tweeteraccounts there is the news about a temporary ceasefire in Raqqah.

These are no ISIS members willing to defect to SDF. They are hard core minded. So where to go? Now SDF is in order to take and feed them as war prisoners. Otherwise they will be killed if passed through to SAA OR the US takes them for any other wargames around the world. The US steadily needs willing fighters for their own interests.
