A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- Ahmad Rahal, a media man supporting Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, was arrested on September 11 by the terrorist group’s security forces;
- The U.S.-backed Revolutionary Commando Army claimed on September 11 that its units had repelled an SAA attack in the al-Tanf area;
- Abu Abdul Mohsen al-Jazrawi, a senior Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham commander, was assassinated near Saraqib on September 10;
- The U.S. has designated Horas al-Din, an al-Qaeda-affiliated group operating in Syria, as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist.
