A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- Syrian Arab Army (SAA) artillery shelled Turkish-backed militants’ positions in the villages of Kafr Uwaid and Baylun;
- Joint military exercise of Russian and Turkish forces took place in the Tarnbah area, in Southern Idlib;
- The Russian Military Police conducted patrol in the city of Qamishli;
- Unidentified armed individuals killed an official from the 5th Corps in Daraa governorate;
- Four Syrian air-defense systems were allegedly destroyed in recent Israeli airstrikes. According to SOHR, one civilian, three government troops and seven allied foreign fighters were killed.
