A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- A car bomb exploded in the Tal Halaf area near the city of Ras al-Ain;
- SDF carried out a security operation near the Iraqi borders with US-led coalition areal support;
- Turkish-backed militants shelled YPG and SAA positions in the Sorhan village;
- SAA artillery shelled Turkish-backed militants’ positions in the villages of Kansafra, Banin and Quqifin;
- President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Turkey had spent 35 billion dollars on Syrian refugees, contradicting his previous claims that it had spent 40 billion.
